This is a user defined field. This date field can be used to track important dates that need to be noticed.  Ex. Measure Date can be substituted for Order Date to show when the first materials were ordered.  This way the store can compare this date to the Estimated Delivery Date for a better look at how long it takes for materials to arrive before they can be installed.

 

The Hot key for this field will be Alt-?. The question mark will be the first letter of the name given to the field.

 

Select this option to yes to force the entry of a date on the customer order.  This field defaults to Measure Date.

A.)  This option can be turned ON to allow for closer tracking of orders and the activity that has occurred on each order.

B.)   It improves customer service and provides a better way of tracking the time frame it takes to get product installed.

C.)  Again, if this option is turned ON, the user will not be allowed to exit or save the order until this date is posted to the order.
