Cannot change private information in products

If an E-Commerce record and a Gateway record merge, the entry type remains E-Commerce. However, private information from Gateway will be included with the E-Commerce pricing. Due to the merge, editing is not available for the private information as Gateway has this locked. Gateway provides the crossover information on the E-Commerce records.
