When UPDATE ALL PRICE AUTOMATICALLY is selected the selling prices in products will be updated automatically. If the option is set to Automatic updates, the Apply Pricing routine will update pricing on ALL products containing formulas which have had price changes since the last time Apply Pricing was run.
When set to manually along with Automatically tagging products for price tag printing when the Price has Changed set to Yes, will cause the following questions to be asked:
When UPDATE PRICES MANUALLY IN PRODUCTS MODULE is selected, a choice of selections is offered:
Update All Selling Prices: Updates the selling price where costs have gone up or down.
Update prices ONLY where cost has GONE UP: allows leaving the selling prices the same when costs have gone up.
Update prices ONLY where cost has GONE Down: allows leaving the selling prices the same when costs have gone down.
This also offers a filtering option to pick specific product to update.
The products library that feeds price information to Order Entry now follows this option, and if set to manual updating will not update the price when a product is pulled into order entry.
