Maintain SF setting for Ecommerce products

It would be very useful if RFMS is configured to use SF, then products from Ecommerce are also forced into SF.  We have a frustrating situation where we use SF for rolled goods, but the occasional roll comes through in SY.  For carpet tile, almost everything comes through in SY.  We shouldn't have to contact each supplier to have them update their settings -- this should be handled internally by RFMS.

  • This has been a VERY IMPORTANT issue for a long time.  We have been asking for this for 2+ years.  Suppliers should be held accountable to follow 'industry standard' (carpet tile in SF, not SY), it should not be up to the retailers to 'contact each supplier'.

  • Yes, we agree with this post.  Carpet Tile and also Pad/Cushion should be converted or reported via SF.

  • We use SY exclusively for broadloom and carpet tile and pad as well.  What would be great is to have a conversion that can be selected in RFMS by supplier record so it does the math and comes through how your business wants it to.  We struggle with metals in each vs lf or other trims that the supplier downloads in cartons but we order in eaches.  It IS a constant battle and no 2 suppliers are the same.

  • We also have rolled rubber that is by the SF so we cannot put it in rolls because that is set to SY.  We really should be able to choose by the material and our inventory process on what units of measure we want to order/received in.
