Auto-Retry for Card Transactions Pending Post to RFMS

If a customer submits payment via MyFlooringLink while the order is locked in RFMS, the receipt record will not be created in Core. The payment remains in the online services Card Transactions page with a status of "Pending Post to RFMS." There is no notification to alert anyone that this has happened. The transaction will remain in this state until someone goes to the online services pages and clicks Retry Post (after unlocking the order in RFMS).

The best solution for us would be to have the transaction auto-retry until it is successful. This would not require any user intervention. The next best option would be a configurable email alert so we know that intervention is necessary for the transaction to complete.

    Thank you for your comment and suggestion.  The Post Payment transactions do auto-retry to post every 5 minutes for an extended period before remaining the Pending Post screen for resolution.  Although this feature has been present for some time, regrettably the post was not updated once the workflows were confirmed operational.
