Searching for System Options

Finding a particular Option

As an example, look for the option for Order Entry Starting Position.  Start by clicking Show all System Options. Type “start” in the search field and hit tab.  The options with start in the name will be listed.

Limiting the filters will show fewer results in the search, but to make searching easier when the exact module or applies to is not known, there is a Show All System Options button.

Searching by Category

As an example, look for all the default value options. Having default values entered can help making the system quicker when values for certain fields are most always the same.

When searching: 

• Options which formerly used the word show, the will now use the word display.
• Use only the key word to search by, for example to find the option Integrate Provider’s earnings, just enter provider.
• Before searching for a new option, click the clear button to remove the search value.
• Clicking the Show All System Options button resets both the category and search fields.
