Click the drop-down and select a new product code to begin the service product code range. Any product code from 2- 98 may be selected to begin the range. However, if the product code selected is currently tied to anything in the system, an error message will direct the user to choose another range. For example, product code 60 is selected as the new starting range (instead of 80) the system will look to see if there is any activity for product codes 60-79. If those product codes have been used and were classified as the material it is not possible to change their classification. An error message will display if product codes are currently being used on Order lines, Product records, Item Inventory records, or Estimate lines.
