Display Provider Earnings - System Option

This option controls what information is shown on the screen in Order Entry regarding Provider Earnings Record.  If this option is set to Yes, earning dollars are shown as usual when viewing provider records.  If this option is set to No, (meaning: DO NOT show earning), earnings information will display as "dashes" and the Provider Earnings Reports are disabled.

 

If this option is set to No, the provider record can be seen but none can be added or edited.

If this is information that the salespeople should not be aware of then this information will need to be hidden (The store allows the user to view the individual/crew who performed the job, the type of installation performed, the amount of materials installed, the date installed and date they were paid; just not the amount paid to the installer/crew).

One reason this may be hidden is because the price that is quoted to the customer, may include installation.  Therefore, there is no need for the salesperson to know the cost of labor if the charge price already includes the cost of labor and possible profitability from the installation.
