Calculator

To access the pop-up calculator, click the calculator button that appears throughout the data entry screens, select Utilities>Calculator or click F2.

 

 

Keys

Calls up the calculator.

Esc.gif

ESC or Alt-E or Exit

Exits the calculator.

Clipboard

Pastes result to the windows clip board it can be pasted into a field. Closes the calculator.

Round or Alt-R

Selecting Rounding Value (number of decimal places).

The number at the end shows how many decimal places are currently set.

Backspace 

Removes the last number entered.

Divide.

Multiply.

calcsub.gif - Subtract.

Add.

Enter

Sub-totals or totals. Same as = key.

Calcflipsign.gif

Flipsign

Changes the sign of the number entered. 

CalcSqroot.gif

Square root 

 

Calcpercent.gif

Percent

Calculates Percentage i.e. divides entered number by 100.

CalcClear.gif

Alt-C

Clears current entry.

Alt-A

Clears all entries.

Print or Alt-P

Prints a tape on the default printer.

Click the Round button. This option allows setting the number of decimal places to round to in calculated totals. Click inside one of the option buttons to select.
