Core Program suggestions are handled through our Community Forum. Here is the forum link for Measure. Check here first to see if your colleagues have already submitted the suggestion and you can vote and comment. For meaningful voting and comments, please limit each post to a single topic. While we appreciate receiving program suggestion from our clients, there are specific steps that need to be taken for a change to be considered. For a suggestion to be successful, it must have a wide appeal across the client-base.

Details:
Include a Summary: The summary is a short description summarizing the suggestion. This is where the problem is stated. For example:
"Sometimes employees have other people pick up the check. We don't want to give a check to the wrong person."
Include a Business Case: The business case gives the detailed "why". It should thoroughly walk through the reasoning behind why this suggestion is being made. If there have been other suggestions made that are similar but have not worked, they need to be included and the shortcomings detailed, the "why not". If this suggestion applies to a particular business type, please include that information. A successful business case needs to not only address the positive, but also any potential negative impacts and how they will be handled. For example:
"Over the last few years My Floor Covering Store has grown exponentially. When we were small, we knew everyone and their spouses. If someone was not able to pick up their own check on a Friday, we knew the person that would be picking it up.
Now that we've grown, this has become a problem. We don't know who is authorized to pick up someone's check.
If we had the ability to attach digital images to the personnel record, if there was a question about who could pick up a check, we could go to the file and match the picture to the person wanting to pick up the check.
The downside could be that there might be privacy concerns regarding having non-employee pictures in the file but we would handle that with some form of waiver.
Screenshots: These can help convey exactly the problem you are trying to solve. This doesn't have to be elegant, the tools available within Windows are more than sufficient to create the images we need.
Once the post has been saved, it will held for moderation. Once the moderators have verified the suggestion, it will be available in the corresponding topic (module) for commentary and voting. Part of verifying a suggestion is making sure there is not already a similar suggestion out there or if there is a way to do what is being suggested.
