Telephone Format - System Option

Select a format for the telephone numbers that appear in the customer list.  The symbols represent the different parts of a typical telephone number.

@S12 indicates no formatting.

 The format normally used in the United States is the second selection, @k###-###-####.  

If the display format of the telephone number field is changed, run Order Entry>Utilities>Fix Data>Customer Telephone to be sure all existing numbers convert properly.

If this is edited, it is a good idea to run the fix telephone utilities afterwards.
