This selection allows batch printing job cost sheets based on specific parameters selected.

Job Cost Type

You can choose between Orders and Claims

Limit By

This is the range parameter.  Select either invoice number, delivery date, transaction date, billing group or Job Cost Transaction Date.  The selection here determines the range of data you can enter (see Invoice / Date Range).

Stores

You can print the report for a single store, all stores or a combination of stores.  Select by clicking on the store code to highlight (colored bar) or tag it.

Order/ Date Range

You can print the report for records that fall between the beginning and ending values entered here. 

If you selected Invoice Number for the Limit by selection, you will enter beginning and ending invoice numbers. 

If you selected either the Transaction Date or Delivery Date (Job cost Date) for the Limit By field, you will enter those appropriate beginning and ending date ranges. 

Selecting the Date Entered option (located in the Limit By field) will allow you to job cost without printing the job cost sheet.  Using this feature job cost sheets can be printed at any time.  Be sure to enter the appropriate starting and ending date ranges in this field.

Unit to Print

Select to print by Unit Gross Cost or Total Gross Cost.

Billing Group

This option will be enabled if Billing Group is selected under Limit By.

Print

This field allows three different types of job cost sheets to be printed. 

Job cost Sheets that contain:

  • All Orders
  • Only Orders with Notes
  • Only Orders with Negative Lines.

 This option allows printing internal, custom or lines notes. 

 

Sort By

Sort the report either by Store Code or by Order Number.

Print Format

Normal: prints the job cost sheets as usual

Condensed: prints the information smaller

If condensed is chosen AND Page Break after Each Job cost is not selected, many job cost sheets per page can be printed, thus saving on paper usage.

Print Options

Number of Copies

Enter the number of copies to print for the report.

Page Break after Each job cost Sheet

To print each job cost sheet on a page, select this option (distribute sheets to salesreps, filing, etc.). 

Leave this box unchecked to print a master report that contains many job cost sheets on a single page. 

If Normal is selected, two job cost sheets per page can print. 

If Condensed is selected, approximately 4 will print on a single page.

Print Preview

Check this box to view the report on the screen before printing.

Print green bar

Check this box for colored highlighting on every other line for easier reading.
