System Options Details

Location: Utilities > System Options > Order Entry > Order Entry

Type: Must be Assigned or User Yellowlocks.gif

Purpose

Use this option to control which Order Stores are available to a user in BCOE. Stores that are selected in the list are the stores the user can work with.

How to Read the Store List

Item in the list What it means
Highlighted or tagged store The store is available to the user.
Green check mark Indicates the user’s default store. The default store is always included in the available Order Stores list. If the default store changes, BCOE moves the check mark to the new default store and keeps the previous default store selected.
Red X Indicates an inactive store. The store can remain selected, but it is not available for entering new orders in BCOE. It can still be used when editing existing orders already assigned to that store.
Non-selectable (remains white) The user does not have access to this store and so it cannot be assigned. See the option Order Stores Visible to User.

Available Actions

Action Result
tag all.png Tag All Selects all stores.
untag all.png Untag All Clears all stores except the default store.

Default Store

Sales Floor Assistant

  • Sales Floor Assistant (SFA) uses a separate equivalent setting. This option is located under: Utilities > System Options > Sales Floor Assistant > General > Order Stores Visible to Workstation
  • The default store setting for SFA is located under: Utilities > System Options > Sales Floor Assistant > General > Single Store to Process

For more information please see the Sales Floor Assistant user guide.

Note: If you want to control how the store is populated when a new order is created, see New Order Store - System Option. This lets you use the user's default store, the customer's store, or require the user to choose a store each time.
