Editing an Invoice in a Closed Period
Due to obvious General Ledger considerations, the Invoice Due Date and the Discount amount are the only fields that can be edited when the payable is from a closed period. No accounting entries are made.
Show Check
When a payable status has changed to PAID, the option to Show Check will be at the top of the screen when viewing the payable. This is a view only screen to see all of the invoices that are on that check.
Communications Center
Either from the browse screen or while viewing a payable the Communications center can be opened.
The communications center for Accounts Payable is limited to Interoffice Mail, Attachments, and Notes.
Notes can be added regardless of payable status. For information on how to add notes please see the article The RFMS Next Communications Center.
