To be able to use this system option, the system option "Allow Line Commissions" must be set to Yes
To use the line commission method without the commission information showing in Order Entry, set this option to No. The commissions will be calculated using the percentage or dollar amount entered on the Products record. If a matching Products record is not in the Products file, line commission will not be applied. So, it is important to remember for line commissions to be calculated automatically for roll or item inventory, a matching Products record that includes a commission percentage or dollar amount must be entered on the Prices screen.
