Error:Failure Audit Messages on SQL Server in Event Viewer

Cause:This is an Authentication issue between users and SQL. They are authenticating on the Domain Controller and connecting to SQL and are allowed to work, however SQL is flagging the authentication issue


Solution:

NOTE: This should only be done by your Local IT Professional

1.  At the SQL Server, Go to SQL Managment Studio
2.  Expand Security and Logins
3.  Add the 'Domain Users' Group to Logins or 'Users' Group, if not on domain
