RFMS will not run on workstations

Verify whether this is a problem on all workstations or just one. Also check to see if RFMS will run at the Server.

If RFMS wont run at the Server, go to Solution A.

If RFMS wont run on any workstations, go to Solution B.

If RMS won't run on just one workstation, go to Solution C

A. Wont run at Server
1.) At the Server, Go to Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Services
2.) Find the SQL Service and restart
3.) Try at Server and if ok, try on Workstations, if still not working see Solution B and C

B. Runs at Server but no workstations
1.) At the Server, Go to Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Services
2.) Find the SQL Browser Service and start or restart.
3.) Go to SQL Configuration Manager and make sure Named Pipes and TCP/IP are enabled
3.) Try at Workstations, is still not working see Solution C.

C. Runs at Server but just one workstation has issue
1.) At the Workstation, Go to Start - Run
2.) Type in Cliconfg and hit Enter
3.) Enable TCP/IP and Named Pipes on General Tab
4.) Go to the Alias Tab and Select Add
5.) Add the Server Name and SQL Instance if present in the format of Server Name\SQL Instance
NOTE: This information can be found in SQL Managment Studio

6.) Select Named Pipes from choices and Hit OK to save
7.) Select Ok and try at Workstation
8.) If still an issue remove the Alias from step 4 and repeat steps 2 through 7 but this time input TCP/IP instead of Named Pipes on step 6.
