How To: Install Cash Drawer on a Remote Connection

Solution:

At the Terminal Server

Make sure that the server is configured to allow local drives to be accessed from remote connections

From the Terminal Server Client PC

1.  Contact RFMS for the Remote Cash Drawer Utility
2.  Install the Remote Cash Drawer Utility on the local drive of the Terminal Server Client PC
3.  Configure the Remote Client to allow local drive access
4.  Go to Order Entry - Utilities - Cash Drawer and configure for the USB Cash Drawer and input the path of the Remote Cash Drawer Installation Path.
