Typically the below fix will resolve. In the case that it doesn't your IT Professional may need to adjust settings on the Server and/or Workstation
1. At the Workstation in question, open Internet Explorer
2. Go to Tools
3. Go to Options or Internet Options
4. Go to Security
5. Go to Trusted Sites
6. Click on sites
7. Input the Server UNC Path in the 'Add this website to the zone' box. This will be in the format of
\\servername\sharename
8. Uncheck the box 'Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone
9. Select 'Add'
10. Hit 'Close' and 'OK'
