Select one of the following options for interaction with the Schedule Pro module.
Create Schedule Pro Alerts
If the option is set to "Create Schedule Pro Alerts," highlight an order, click the Schedule Pro button, and it will create "To Be Scheduled" Alert. If "Display Alerts for Pending Schedule Pro Operations" is checked to "Yes" on this screen, it will create a red Schedule Pro button in the Order list to show that the alert has been created. The person using the Schedule Pro can look at all of these alerts in a list and schedule them from there. It is the way that people in Order Entry can tell people doing scheduling that an order is ready to go. If the Order Entry people have set an Estimated Delivery Date for the order (in the Order Header), this can become the suggested schedule date, depending on your system settings. Once the job has been scheduled, the alert disappears and a regular Schedule Pro button will appear.
Open Schedule Pro for selected order
If this option is selected, you can highlight an order, click the Schedule Pro button and if Schedule Pro was already open on that computer, it will bring the screen up just as you left it. If Schedule Pro was closed when you Click the button, it will open it and ask whether you want to "Add" that the current job you that is highlighted in Order Entry to the schedule or "View" existing schedule items associated with that job. This setting is only meant to be used by someone who should have access to adding or editing jobs in Schedule Pro.
