Go to the Window Treatments browse and hit the “Takeoffs” button. Then, in the Window Takeoffs browse, hit "Add."

Enter a Window number. Normally, windows are numbered from a certain starting point around the perimeter of the house. This field will be used to sort the windows in the reports and the seletor

Select an Area name from the pop-up list. These names are kept in master lists to save on data entry, reduce errors, and promote consistent naming conventions for the ease of the designers.

Note: If the Area name is not in the pop-up list, hit the “Add Area Names” button to add it in proper edit in place browse. If you didn’t realize the name wasn’t in the list until after you added the record, hit the “Esc” button on the keyboard to exit the record without saving it, then add the name, then add the record again.

Enter the Width and Length of the window in inches.

If there are any window specific charges or fees that you’d like to add on to the actual product price, enter them in the Additional Cost per Win column.

Now your window pricing will be automatically generated for all treatments in the project based on sizes entered here. You can print pricing reports and make selections in the design center module.
