This option prints a report of Sales by zip code for Written or Delivered Sales using dates specified by the user.

Common uses:

Analyzing effectiveness of ad campaigns.

 

Tips for Use:

Using the settings in >Utilities>System Options>Order Entry> Order Entry> (Require Zip Code), (Automatically Validate Zip Code) and (Verify Ship To City, State and Zip in Cities File) makes this report more meaningful by ensuring all orders have a valid zip code.

Canadian postal codes will be analyzed by grouping according to the first three digits.

The system will default to the current month for beginning and ending dates of the report; however, those dates can be edited.  

Zip to Use: Sold to more useful for retail stores. Ship to more useful for commercial stores. 

Order Status: Choose between Written or Delivered 

Dates: Written = Order Date Delivered= Job Cost Date

Customer Types: Choose one or more customer types to be included in the report

Sub Sort By: Choose one of the options to sub sort by

Break on Customer Type: Click this option to have a page break on each new customer type.

Preview Report: Click this option to review the report before printing.

Output CSV to : This option allows exporting this report to an external CSV.

Information will be included in this report regarding: Zip code, number of sales, material only, sales tax, installation service, invoice totals,percent.  It may be sub-totaled by store location. The report is in descending order.

Information included on the .csv ouput is Store, Zip, Number of Sales, Material Only, Sales Tax, Other Charges, Invoice Total, Customer Type, % of Customer Type, % of Store, % of Sales, City and State.
