Interface mode gives the ability to make fields required, editable or hidden based on your company’s needs. Interface Mode also gives the ability to determine which tabs are hidden. It can be set globally or for a particular user.

Interface Mode is not available for buttons. Buttons should be password protected.
If a field is already controlled by a program or system option, then the Interface Mode is not available on that field.
Interface Mode is available on the Edit Order, Quote, or Claim screens, Customer screen and Client Management Projects.

How Do I Use the Interface Mode?
- Be in the proper screen - must be inserting a new record on the Order, Quote, Claim, Customer or Projects screen.
- Remeber it is only available in selected screens, fields, and tabs. These will be marked in green when in the Interface Mode.

- 3 Keyboard shortcuts to remember:
- Ctrl + Alt + F9 - to enter Interface Mode
- Ctrl + Alt+ F - to configure Interface Mode for a FIELD
- Ctrl + Alt + T - to configure Interface Mode for a TAB
