Direct Deposit-Setting up EFT

It is recommended to run  EFT payables and regular payables separately.

To choose the EFT payables, select EFT Only radio button in the lower right corner.  Flag the payables as normal.

Make sure the DD program is closed before starting.

After checking to see if the information is correct, Click Transmit EFT dd10.png.

The message appears asking if an Audit Report should be printed.  If the answer is yes, the report will be printed at the end of the transmission.

The Business Account screen appears.  Highlight the account to use and click Select select.gif

The Account Payable screen will appear after all the processes have finished.  The question "Did the Bank File Create Properly" will appear.  This is similar to the question at the end of a manual check run asking if all checks printed properly.  If a valid check run did not happen manually or electronically, you must answer no in order to be able to pay those payables without a great deal of trouble.

If no, the question will be asked if existing flags should be removed.

NOTE: Unlike files created in Human Resources, a file created from Accounts Payable cannot be regenerated.  It is imperative that No is selected if the information is not correct or if another EFT file will be created (which will overwrite the original).
