Tour RFMS NEXT

 

Most screens in RFMS Next have a similar layout and features. This article will take you on a brief tour so that you can familiarize yourself with these.

Navigation Bar and Submenus

E. Help and Settings buttons will always show at the bottom left of the screen.

  • The screen you are currently on will have a line to the left of it indicating that it is selected.
  • Clicking on a screen will open the submenu allowing you to edit the favorites list or select a sub-screen.
  • The help button will take you to the home screen of the help center

Filtering and Sorting Browse Screens

Each column of a browse screen has a sort and an options button.

 Tip: The options button only appears on mouse hover.

Use the arrow, adjust , to adjust the sorting order for a column.

Click the options button, filter, to further refine sorting and filtering.

  • Sort "A" to "Z" or "Z" to "A"
  • Hide Column: Exclude current column from the browse view
  • Refine Results: add conditions to search for in a specific column
  • Advanced Sort: apply separate sorting order for the different columns
  • Manage Columns: Select which columns to include in the browse and preview views
  • Find in Results: Search current search results
Refine Results

A. Select the column, the qualifier, and then enter the term

B. Add another optional condition

C. Choose an And/Or option for additional conditions.

D. Resets the results to default

E. Apply options to search results or cancel

F. Delete a condition

Advanced Sort

A. Select a column to sort and what order to sort by

B. Add another column to sort

C. Change the order of the sorting hierarchy

D. Delete an added column to sort

E. Resets to the default sorting order

F. Apply options to search results or cancel

Manage Columns

A. Check the box to include column information in the preview section of the screen that appears when a selection is made in the browse screen results list

B. Check the box to include column in the browse window results list

C. Change the order of the columns listed. Set order is reflected in the browse window and the preview window.

D. Go back to default column settings and refresh results

E. Apply options to the results list or cancel

After selecting Find in Results under search options a new search field will appear on the screen. Search terms entered here will only apply to the current results list.
