Why do I Have Negative Work Order and Area Line?

If the Order Line has multiple areas and less then ordered is received, an imbalance will occur.   If there is not more than one Area on the Order Line, there will be no change to the Area when less then ordered is received.

RFMS inserts an offsetting Work Order line (which is negative) to keep the areas in balance; therefore preventing Work Order lines from having to be regenerated.

RFMS inserts an offsetting Area (which is negative) and creates a New Order Line to keep the areas in balance.

You many regenerate Work Order Lines or choose which to print by not Tagging the Commuter Generated lines.

Regenerating Work Order Lines will result in Areas being removed so that the User may properly note those values.  For example, a 12 x 150 is ordered on one Order Line with areas of Great Room 75, Master Bedroom 35, Bedroom A 20, Bedroom B 20.  The order is fulfilled in 2 rolls 12 x 75 each.  When the first 12 x 75 roll is received, there will be a negative Area Line on the Initial Order Line and Work Order Line for the value that was not received.  A second Order Line and Work Order Line will be created when the second 12 x 75 roll is received.

If the line has been split, the original line will receive a Negative value to keep the work order lines in balance. The New line will also receive a work order line.
