Inventory>File>Adjustment Type

The Adjustment Type Browse List screen is where user-defined adjustments are added and edited. Click the Insert button to add a user-defined adjustment. Click the edit button to change the description of the adjustment or to make it inactive. Only adjustments that have not been used can be deleted.

Description
The name of the adjustment type record.
Adjustment Type
How the inventory record will be adjusted. Only quantity adjustment types can be user added.
Reserved
The system added adjustments records are reserved and cannot be edited, deleted, or made inactive.
Inactive
Only user-defined adjustment records can be made inactive.

Transfers a given length of material to another record, either roll or item, or to remove it completely from inventory.

To Another Roll: Moves a designated amount to a new roll or combine with an existing record.

Record must be costed first.

Item Inventory: Allows an amount to be moved to item inventory.  Record must be costed first.  As of version 12.1, cost adjustments are not allowed to be made at the same time as a transfer adjustment.

Another Store: Moves inventory from one store code to another. This is the only adjustment allowed for not costed inventory.
