Full Inventory Move User Guide

A record that is tagged for moving has a small cross like icon in the left column.

Record that is In-Transit (has been moved from location 1 but not received by location 2) and has a lock in the left column.

Some Things to Know:

Inventory in-transit may not be sold until it is received in the new location.
A record cannot be edited until a move is complete.
Inventory that has not been costed can be moved.
Inventory with reserves-soft reserves can't be transferred until the reserves have been cleared.
The inventory value will remain on the books of the transferring store until the "In" date is filled in, at which time the inventory and its value will actually move to the new location.
