Full Inventory Move User Guide
Inventory>File> Received Moved Inventory or Inventory>File>(Roll or Item Inventory)
From the Roll or Item, Browse Screen click on the Receive Inventory icon
The Receive Inventory screen appears.
Three options to receive inventory
- Scan the bar code from the top left of the Tracking Sheet. The entire sheet will be received.
- Scan individual line item bard codes from Tracking Sheet. This will only receive the lines scanned.
- Highlight a record on the browse screen and press the edit icon. This will only receive the highlighted records.
Ways to Receive
Receive the entire list at once:
On the top of the transaction report, there is a large bar code. Scan that barcode to receive the entire list. If a minority of the inventory is NOT being received, cancel those records first. Then scan the barcode to receive the majority of the move into the new store location. This can save time because you don't have to individually mark the majority of the records.
This screen allows you to receive the entire transaction at once. After you have scanned the transaction on the Receive Moved Inventory Browse screen, you will see this screen:
Type in the Date Received (if different from the system date), the name of the person receiving and the warehouse location.
Any notes added will transfer to the inventory record.
As of version 22.0 , there is a check box to automatically select to have a tag printed. Once it is checked it should remain checked until someone manually unchecks it.
Receive individual records:
Scan the barcode that is printed on the inventory line on the transaction report or if you do not have a scanner, you can highlight the record and click on the Edit icon. The Receive Moved Inventory Edit screen appears.
Individual Records
If receiving individual inventory in a transaction, this screen appears. The only fields that are accessible on this screen are listed below. The other fields are informational only.

Received By

Location

Edit Notes

Cancel this Move
This option removes the inventory from the Move Process. It will appear on the Receive Inventory list with a status of Canceled. Once a record is placed in the Canceled status, it can't be changed. If you don't want to see the Canceled records, click in the Search Status and select In-Transit to filter the list. Canceled inventory can be moved again using the normal process if needed.
Accept (OK)
This option receives the inventory into the destination store. The record will be removed from the Inventory Move list and shown as inventory for the destination store. The record will have a note attached that contains the original store and date moved.
Exit without Moving
Exits the screen without saving the changes.
