CAUTION: Fix Order Header directly manipulates data without any software controls. Data can be manipulated within closed accounting periods, etc. and can have unpredictable results in your data. RFMS cannot be responsible for assisting in data integrity recovery when this utility is used without our direct involvement.
Accounting>Utilities>Sales Utilities:
After clicking Fix Order Header, the system will ask for an access code.
The Fix Header Records dialogue will appear:
Edit Header
Selecting the Edit Header function displays the following dialogue:
The Edit Header routine is EXTREMELY powerful and extraordinary caution must be used when editing. All fields except Invoice Type are editable.
CAUTION: The system uses the Del. Date field to determine if an Order has been job costed, regardles of there being an actual job cost record. Inserting a date in this field will cause this record to show up on all sales and accounting reports without the order having actually been posted to the General Ledger. Likewise, removing a date and subsequently re-job costing would double-post to the General Ledger and, potentially, commissions.
Delete Header
Deleting the header will remove the highlighted order out of the system.
NOTE: The delete function will not work if there are lines on the order that have not been removed. Please see Fix Order Lines for instructions on how to remove lines.
