Understanding order tracking.

Order Tracking

Users will be able to browse Order Tracking information on every record insert made into Orders, Quotes and Bid Pro Estimates.

Information being tracked is ...

Date Created
Time Created
Machine Name
User Name
Source (Manual Insert, Web, Link, NHMS, etc...)
Source Table
Source Record Sequence Number
Source Description (application creating the insert)
Destination Table
Destination Record Sequence Number


Order Tracking Information will only be fully populated from 10.6 install date forward.

If there are no orders the T will be white. Tracking no orders

Sample Order Tracking Records

Areas where a tracking record will be visible currently include:

  • Manually add an order, quote or estimate.
  • Export Quote to Order (New and Append)
  • Export Estimate to Order (New and Append)
  • RFMS Link Exports (New and Append)
  • NHMS Home Buyer Export (New and Append)
  • Export Salesperson Up (New and Relate)
  • Exported from IHOE
  • Recurring AR
  • Adding new or existing orders to billing groups

 

 

Billing Group Tracking

 

1. In Bid Pro if an order is exported to a new order with a new overage then 3 tracking records will be created. Export Bid Pro to New Order, Export Bid Pro Overage to New Overage Order, Create New Overage for Order.

2. In Bid Pro if an order is exported to an existing order and a new overage is created for the existing order then 3 tracking records will be created. Export Bid Pro to Existing Order, Export Bid Pro Overage to New Overage Order, Create New Overage for Order.

3. In Bid Pro if an order is exported to an existing order and to an existing overage then 2 tracking records will be created. Export Bid Pro to Existing Order, Export Bid Pro Overage to Existing Overage Order.

4. In Order Entry a tracking record will be created when an overage order is created.

5. In Order Entry a tracking record will be created when an add on or credit memo is created.
