Full Inventory Move User Guide

The Inventory Move feature is an add-on program that allows moving  inventory records to other store locations within the RFMS Inventory program. This includes the feature allowing a store to use the order lines to initiate the process of transferring inventory. It also allows partial amounts of an inventory record to be transferred. Please contact the RFMS Sales Department for information on purchasing this product.     

Activating Inventory Move

When the Inventory Move program is purchased, instructions on installing it will be received.  After installation, use the system option to activate the feature in the RFMS Inventory module for each user.

X>Utilities>System Options>Inventory>Inventory>Multiple Inventory Move Workstation

Set this to yes for each user who needs to be able to Inventory Move using this program.

Inventory Move Buttons

The Inventory Move feature adds additional tools to the Inventory menu bar. Access the Roll Inventory and Item Inventory screens the same way. 

Inventory>File> (Roll or Item Inventory)

	Tag One	Marks the highlighted inventory record that will be moved.
	Untag One	Un-tags the highlighted inventory record so it will not be moved.
	Untag All	Un-tags all inventory records that were previously tagged for moving. Records that are tagged for moving are indicated by a small icon in the left-hand column of the screen.
	Move	Displays the parameter screen that will move all tagged records to another store.
	Receive	Displays the receiving screen for moving inventory.
	Requested	Displays inventory requested from other stores.
	Distribution	The ability to split Inventory and assign it to Multiple Stores
