Elegant Tags

The Elegant Tag program is designed to print Rug Tags from Item Inventory. This tag prints on 8 1/2" x 11".  This tag is different from others in that it requires that a particular item match to at least one product record from the Products file. The following fields are required to match: Length, Width, Manufacturer, Private Item Name and Private Color/Description. If the RFMS Elegant Tag program is unable to find an exact match for ALL these fields, the tag will not print. If an exact match is located, the program will search for other products that match all criteria except Length and Width. These items will be shown on the Rug Tag under the heading "Other Sizes Available".  

  

• The Price is pulled from the Price 1 field in products.  If this field is left blank in products, the price on the tag will display as $0.00. 
• The Large price on the right of the tag is pulled from the Unit Price located on the Item Inventory record.
• The SRP is pulled from the SRP field located on the product record.

Inventory>Item Inventory

The procedure for using this tag feature is just like any other.  From the Inventory module, choose Item Inventory.  Select the rug to print a tag for and highlight it by right clicking on the line.  Click the tag button and the Item Tag Options screen will display.

To abort this procedure, simply click CANCEL.   Once you have selected all the appropriate options, click the Print Item Tags button that is located on the toolbar. Choose Type: Elegant Tag.  The Elegant Tag options box will appear.

Click "Print Item Tags", the Elegant Tag dialog box will appear that will display "Show SRP on Tag".  Check the box to the right of this text to print the SRP information on this rug tag.  See the following illustration. When you are done, click the OK button.  The tag will print at this time.  If you have selected to preview this tag before printing, the preview screen will display. 

Slogan on Tag      

You can type a phrase here which will be printed on the tag.  On our example tag the slogan is “See Other Colors”

Slogan Font

Clicking F8 brings up the Font Options Box allowing you to customize the printing of the slogan.

Show SRP on Tag

Check the box to the right of this text to print the SRP information on this rug tag. This information is pulled from the product information.

SRP Title

If included, you can specify what to call the Suggested Retail Price on your tag.

Main Price Font

This works the same way as choosing the font for the Slogan.

Bin Name

Click the radio button to choose what location indicator is printed on the tag.

Icon Path

Click the F8 button to locate the file to print as an image on the top and bottom of the tag.  The image area is 2 7/8" wide x 1 3/4" high.

Tag Explanation

At the bottom left of the tag, the following fields will display.

Manufacturer

This is pulled from the item inventory record.

Content

This field’s information is pulled from the information placed on the product record in the field labeled FHA Num.

Country of Origin:

This field’s information is pulled from the information placed on the product record in    the field labeled User Label.  This field will display the country from which the rug derives from.
