Retainage- Exclude from Commissions

A Commission Pay Type option allows commission to be paid on the Order Total Less Retainage prior to the retainage being billed. 

With this commission pay type, Two commission records will be created per order during job costing, one for the Retainage Amount and one for the Order Total Less Retainage.  If the Order Balance is equal to or less than the Retainage Amount commission lines that do not include retainage will be due.  The retainage commission lines will be due when the Order Balance equals 0.

The type of commission record will be indicated on the commission information screen.
