Requested Inventory- Set Stores

Set stores from which a user is able to request inventory.

Inventory Stores Visible to User

Users should have request level permission for stores other than their home store.

Utilities>System Options>Order Entry>Inventory> Inventory Stores Visible to User

Type is Assigned or User

 

Requesting the Inventory

Adding or Editing Order lines

A customer order in one store selects inventory from another store. The line status is requested.

Moving the Inventory

The “requested from store” will have a button in roll inventory and item inventory to see what inventory has been requested.

Tag the records that need to be shipped.  Press the Process Button.  The Inventory Move Tracking Sheet previews and prints.

The line status changes from Requested to InTransit.

Amount Available: This is the amount available after this relocation takes place.

Amount Reserved: Amount reserved for this order.

Salesman #1:

In Transit: This is an internal marker

Sequence Number: A sequential number assigned by the program.

 

If the amount reserved for the requested store is leaves an amount available, the requested quantity is moved onto a new record.

Tag the lines to move, then click the process button 

The material is then placed on reserve in the new store.

 History Records

Old record in requested store.

New Record in receiving store.

Line Status is now reserved.
