Inventory>File> (Roll Inventory or Item Inventory or Purchase Order) 
The Assign button is located on the toolbar on each of these screens. This screen allows assigning (or allocating) the selected inventory to a customer order line. Only the following may be changed:
Quantity
Length
Status - cut (for rolls), deducts (for items) or reserve (for either)
1. Highlight the inventory to be assigned.
2. Click the Assign button.
3. Click the Inventory button to make the assignment from a roll/item in inventory (as opposed to a soft reserve, which is a temporary hold assignment).
4. Highlight the correct customer order line to which the inventory should be attached and click the Select button
.
5. The Assign screen will appear. Check all information and make changes if needed. Click OK.

6. The Confirm Message will appear. Click Yes.
