The Quote screen is very similar to the customer order. The Quotes Screen has a long green bar on the right-hand side to indicate the quotes module and not order entry.
Adding a Quote
To add a new quote, go to File>Quotes.
On the Quotes browse screen, click the Insert button 
.
To change a quote to an even dollar amount, simply edit the difference on one of the line totals.
Adding Lines
- Lines can't be assigned, even line information pulled from inventory. This is just for reference no actual inventory is reserved or assigned.
- To specify a specific roll number to be used, please make a line note.
- Notes and Attachments can be attached to lines.
- Ship To addresses can be attached to lines.
- Lines can be split.
- Samples are checked out on the quote line.
Miscellaneous
- Notes and Attachments can be attached to quotes.
- All other options normally available on a customer order are disabled.
Adjust Quote Total 
This button will only show if the Quote does not have an Export Date.
The following warning screen appears after clicking Adjust Total.
