If Require Authorization Code for Price Changes, then an Authorization code must be entered.

Any price changes will be recorded and can be printed by selecting Reports, Prices Changes Report.

In addition to changing pre-established selling prices, if the price is zero this can also be changed.

Price Levels
The Price Levels will only be populated if Price Levels to Display is set up correctly.  Under this system option, the default price level for each product can be set.

Roll - Item Inventory:
If the inventory record does not have a matching product record with established selling prices, the selling price entered on the inventory record will appear. If the inventory record has a matching product record, the selling prices from the product file will be available.

Products File:
If the product record has selling prices established, those prices will be available. Again, depending on the selection in Price Levels to Display, all prices may or may not display.

Unreferenced Lines:
Since unreferenced lines are not attached to any other data in the system, enter the price when entering the product information.

Manual Price Entry
If selecting a pre-established selling price as described above is not desired, press Alt-N to enter in the New Price field, or press Alt-T to enter a line total and the system will calculate the unit price automatically.
