Cyncly Pay Payments Screen

 

The Home screen is the default screen when you login to the Cyncly Pay web portal. This screen displays your most recent payment transactions.

Column Name Content Explanation
Amount Total amount processed in the transaction including fees.
ID Cyncly Pay Transaction ID.
Description Includes order number if pre-authorization has been completed and the quote has then been exported to an order.
Merchant Your company name.
Net Total amount excluding fees.
Source Invoice or Order number.
Fee Total amount of fees for the transaction.

Contact Name

First and last name within customer record. (If there is no customer name the contact name will be displayed as: No.+@+MID.com)
Status Current status of payment. (See Understanding Statuses)
Created Date and time when invoice is created in Cyncly Pay.
Due Date Date and time when the payment was/is due.
Paid Date and time when the transaction went through.

How To

Configure and Arrange Columns

The different columns on this screen can be hidden and rearranged so that you can customize your view.

Show/Hide Columns

  1. Select the Configure Columns button, configure columns button.png.
  2. Uncheck to hide a column, check to make it visible.
  3. Click Apply to save your changes.

Rearrange Column Order

Column names can be dragged and dropped to arrange them in an order you prefer.

Edit the Width of Columns

The width of individual columns can be altered by placing your mouse cursor between two columns, left click and hold, then drag cursor to either extend or shrink the column.

Search for Payments and Filter Results

In the search box enter keywords found within the ID, Source, Contact Name, or Description.

Further narrow results by using the filter. When one or more filter options are applied, the filter icon will display with a blue dot, filters applied icon.png.

Contact
Enter all or part of a contact name, then select a name from the list. Names are pulled directly from the Contacts list.
Payment Status
When looking for a specific payment or group of payments you can filter by the status.
Payment Method
Filter by Card, eCheck, or all transaction methods.
Creation, Payment, and Payout Dates
Filter by a specific date or date range for these three transaction date markers.

Take Action on a Payment

The current status of a payment dictates what actions may be taken on it. Use the quick action menu button, action menu for payments.png, to see the options available and make a selection. You can also double click a payment to open the details page to view all available actions and take them from there.

Explanation of Actions

Action Explanation
Pay

Opens the payment screen. For information please see the article Taking a Payment with Cyncly Pay.

 Note: RFMS users must post payment manually in Core if this action is taken.

Authorize

Create a credit card pre-authorization hold.

 Note: RFMS users should perform credit card pre-authorizations through My Flooring Link or choosing the option to sign and authorize in RFMS Mobile.

Send Link Send a payment link via email, copy the link, or have the customer scan a QR code.
Cancel Cancel the payment request.
Refund

Enter the amount to be refunded and the reason.

 Note: This is not the recommended refund process users. Please post refund in RFMS. (See also: Processing a Customer Refund and Posting Refund to Order)

Cancel

Capture funds from a quote that has pre-authorization

 Note: RFMS users should capture in RFMS by exporting the quote to an order in RFMS Mobile or in Core.

Cancel Authorization If a pre-authorization hold has been taken this will remove the hold.

Actions based on Payment Status

Status Available Actions
Pending/Open Pay, Authorize, Send Link, Cancel
Succeeded/Paid Refund (Not recommended action for RFMS users. Instead post refund in RFMS.)
Canceled View only, no actions can be taken.
Authorized Capture (Not recommended action for RFMS users. Instead export quote to order in RFMS Mobile or Core), Cancel Authorization
Payment Processing View only, no actions can be taken.
Payment Failed Pay, Send Link
Add Quick Charge

Quickly process a payment without a corresponding invoice.

 Note: This action does not get reflected back in RFMS.
