To produce an item tag, first create an item tag record. Multiple item tags can be created and then print them all at once in a batch. Or, produce a single item tag, if desired.

If an inventory record is tagged and then something in the record is changed, un-tag and then re-tag that record to reflect the changes on the printed tag.
Inventory>File>Item Inventory
Single Record - Highlight the desired record and click on the Tag One icon. |
All Records - Click on the Tag All icon. This method is useful when first starting and need the entire inventory tagged. |
Print the Tag - click on Printer icon to print tags for the tagged records. |
The Item Tag Options screen displays. Set the options. Click OK to continue. An item tag record is now created in a data file named itemtag.dat. This file is used during the print routine.
PRINT THE ITEM TAG:
Click the Printer icon to print item tags for all tagged item records.
Click the tag icon to select all store codes. To print a single store, do not click on the tag all icon. Instead, single click on the store code. A store code is tagged if the background color is blue. See Item Tag Options for more information.
Click on the Print Item Tags button to begin printing.
