Referral Trace Information

In order to help you understand how RFMS Order Entry is calculating Referrals, a tracing feature is available that will give you all the details regarding these calculations.


To Use Referral Tracing:

  1. Go to the System option called Set Up RFMS Referral Options.  Check the Referral Tracing option.

This is a global setting and turns on tracing for all workstations. Only keep this setting turned on while you are learning. Turn if off after you have a complete understanding of how referrals are calculated. If not, processing time can be increased and the trace file will continue to grow, consuming hard drive space. When you turn off the setting, the trace files are removed from your system.

2.  Click on File>Customer Orders.

3.  Highlight a customer order that has a referral. The Referral button that is located to the right of the BALANCE field becomes available.

4.  Click on the Referral Button.

5.  A report will be shown on the screen. If you want to send to the printer, click on the Printer icon.
