RFMS has a very comprehensive and thoroughly integrated General Ledger package. It simulates a typical hand accrual system using both a "Journal" and "General Ledger" file.
The General Ledger program is designed to provide many of the reports needed to give management an overall analysis of their company's financial picture. A complete journal listing and an audit trail are provided on hard copy at the end of each month. A Profit & Loss Statement is produced by the program.
Posting data to the computer can continue even after a calendar month has ended until financials for that month have been closed. All records are kept chronologically and sorted accordingly. Once the General Ledger has been installed, all detailed financial information will be maintained automatically.
